Biography

Ahead of his first season in Wilkes-Barre, King's College Women's Ice Hockey Head Coach Quinn La Rock announced the addition of Jess Michals as an assistant coach in 2025-26.

Michals will contribute to all aspects of the team's operations, including but not limited to scouting, recruiting, practice planning, film evaluation, player development, lineup management, game management, and day-to-day operations. Her duties will begin this summer ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Hockey Coach, Super Gulls Hockey (July 2023, 2024).
Personal
  • 2025 graduate of Endicott College with a Bachelor's degree in marketing.
  • Four-year member of the Gulls women's ice hockey team as a forward, appearing in 59 games with 10 points on five goals and five assists.
  • Posted a 79-23-7 overall record, four conference playoff appearances, two conference championship titles, and two NCAA Division III tournament berths.
  • Served as a member of their leadership team and a member of The Hidden Opponent.
