King's College Athletics

The King's College men's soccer program added Jose Rivera to its coaching staff ahead of the 2026 season, head coach Brandon Raynor announced.

Rivera joins the Monarchs after serving as a staff coach and goalkeeper coach at Herndon High School in Virginia, where he helped guide the program to VHSL Class 6 regional and state championships. A former NCAA Division I student-athlete at Radford University, Rivera brings experience in goalkeeper development, team tactics, and player mentorship to the Monarchs' staff.

• Helped guide Herndon to VHSL Class 6 Regional and State Championships in 2025
• Coached a goalkeeper who earned First Team All-District and Second Team All-Region honors
• Former NCAA Division I men's soccer student-athlete at Radford University (2019-22)
• Assisted with player development and identification camps at Radford University
• Earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Radford University with double majors in Finance and Business Management and a minor in Spanish
