KEVIN MACKEY

Biography

Kevin Mackey joins the King's College men's ice hockey coaching staff ahead of the 2025-26 season after spending time as both a professional hockey player and a coach. Mackey's responsibilities include assisting in all facets of the program such as recruiting, operations, practice and game preparation, scouting, and more.

Personal
  • Graduate of Robert Morris University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Management) and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership.

  • Four-year member and two-time assistant captain of the RMU ACHA Division I men’s hockey team.

  • Played professionally for Fjölnir Björninn in Reykjavík, Iceland during the 2023 season.

  • Player Advisor with Advancement Hockey Advising, mentoring athletes on career development, education, and advancement opportunities.
