The King’s College Athletic Department announced its newest addition to the men’s basketball coaching staff in the Spring of 2026. Athletic Director Andy Orlowski named Phil Pierfy as the next Head Coach of the King’s College Men’s Basketball Program.
He will begin his duties in late April ahead of a busy summer and the 2026-27 season for Monarch Basketball.
  • Assistant Coach, Men’s Basketball, Arcadia University (2019-26).
    • Led the Arcadia Knights to a 97-72 overall record and coached 13 All-Conference players, including 2021 MAC-Commonwealth MVP Jalen Watkins and was responsible for Recruiting the 2025 MAC-Freedom Rookie of the Year Jamison Lynam with an additional 11 All-Conference selections.
  • Served as the head coach of the 17U East Coast Power AAU program, mentoring several college-bound athletes.
  • 2019 graduate of Arcadia University with a degree in Mathematics and earned his Masters in Sports Analysis from California University of Pennsylvania.
  • A two-time All-MAC Commonwealth selection.
  • Led the Knights to the program's first-ever conference championship and NCAA Division III Tournament as a team captain in his senior season in 2019. 
  • Finished his collegiate career fifth on the program's all-time scoring list with 1,191 points and averaged 13.1 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
  • Named as an NABC First-team All-District selection, the first in the program's history.
