King's College Athletics

On the final day of finals for the Spring 2025 semester, the King's College Athletic Department announces its newest addition to the coaching staff. Associate Vice President and Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation Cheryl Ish named Quinn La Rock as the next Head Coach of the King's Women's Ice Hockey program.

He will begin his duties this week ahead of a busy summer and the 2025-26 season for Monarch Ice Hockey.

• Lead Assistant Coach, Women's Ice Hockey, SUNY Cortland (2023-25).
  • Led the Red Dragons to a 37-11-6 overall record and coached four All-Conference selections, one All-Rookie team honoree, and two SUNYAC Defensive Players of the Year.
• Head Coach, Club Men's Ice Hockey, SUNY Cortland (2022-23).
• Volunteer Assistant Coach and Operations Manager, Men's Ice Hockey, SUNY Cortland (2021-23).
• Assistant Coach, Men's Ice Hockey, Cortland/Homer Golden Eagles (2022-23).

• 2020 graduate of SUNY Cortland with a degree in sports management.
• Served as Executive Director and Operations Manager at JM McDonald Sports Complex from 2021-22.
