Robert L. Betzler Athletic Complex

In 1992-93 King's first began play at Monarch Fields, the College's new outdoor athletics complex. In 1999 Rosa Betzler made a $1 million donation to the College and the complex was renamed the Robert L. Betzler Fields in memory of her late son. The name was later altered to the Robert L. Betzler Athletic Complex.

The Robert L. Betzler Athletic Complex includes a multi-purpose turf field that is home to many of our fall and spring sport teams, a track and field facility that finished construction in September of 2017, baseball and softball fields, a grass practice field for teams to use, and the John J. Dorish Field House. The facility is home to 10 of our 28 varsity sport teams while also hosting many intramural and recreational activities.

The facility is located approximately two miles off campus on Highland Park Boulevard in Wilkes-Barre Township. It can be easily accessed from I-81, and there are ample restaurants, stores, and lodging within the area of the facility for visitors.
