KING'S WRESTLERS SWEEP PA/NY DUALS AT LYCOMING

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College wrestling team won both matches at the Pennsylvania/ New York Duals at Lycoming College Saturday in Williamsport.

The Monarchs, who had battled numerous injuries during the first semester, may have seen a glimpse of things to come as the squad returned from break almost fully healthy to upset 30th-ranked Oswego State 27-15. The Monarchs then bested Rochester Institute of Technology 28-19.

King's defending national champion David Morgan won both matches by a 12-0 major decision and a pin in just 0:23. Junior Zach Wilkinson, who saw his first action of the season since missing the first semester with an injury, went 2-0 with a pin at 184 and a decision at 197. Freshman Mike Reilly won two matches at 174 while Taylor Green and Frankie Davis also both both matches.

King's will host Division II Kutztown University Monday at 7:00 p.m. in Scandlon Gym.
