KING'S FIELD HOCKEY PICKS UP IMPORTANT 3-0 WIN OVER FDU
MADISON, NJ -- The King's College field hockey team built a 2-0 halftime lead before walking away with an important 3-0 Freedom Conference over FDU-Florham Tuesday night in Madison, NJ.
With the win, King's improved to 11-2 overall and 3-1 in conference play.
King's took a 1-0 lead at 24:24 when freshman Jenera Quinones scored unassisted for the Lady Monarchs. Christina Glenn would give King's a 2-0at 34:20 on another unassisted goal.
The Lady Monarchs would put the game away in the second stanza when Amanda Schwartztrauber scored off a pass from Lindsay O'Brien at the 46:06 mark. Erin McGinley made 11 saves in the game.
King's will host Wells College Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Betzler Fields
