KING'S FALLS TO EASTERN 4-1
ST. DAVID'S, PA -- Host Eastern University jumped out to a 3-0 halftime lead en route to posting a 4-1 victory over visiting King's College in a Freedom Conference matchup Wednesday in St. David's.
With the loss, King's slipped to 12-3 overall and 3-2 in the Freedom Conference while Eastern improved to 9-6 and 4-1 in the league.
The Eagles opened the scoring at 11:27 of the first half on a goal by Lindsay Moyer. Just under eight minutes later Kim Campbell struck net for a 2-0 lead. Yvonne Herbster would strike net just 4:03 later to give the Eagles a 3-0 lead at the break.
After Eastern built a 4-0 lead,
Debbie Wychock finally got KIng's on the board with just under 10 minutes left.
With the goal, Wychock tied KIng's seaosn scoring school record with her 61st point.
King's will next host Alvernia College Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Betzler Fields.
