WOMEN'S SOCCER ON THE ROAD AT DESALES
Final game of 2008 Season
WILKES-BARRE, PA--- The Lady Monarchs' soccer team will see its final action of 2008 this weekend when they travel to Center Valley, PA to face DeSales University. Game time is set for 12:00pm (noon). As King's travels, they carry a 3-14-1 and are 1-6 in the Freedom Conference.
In spite of their record, King's has played solid soccer in their later games of the season. Freshman Becky Chateauneuf has come on strong towards the end, scoring ten goals and one assist for 21 points in her rookie campaign. Fellow freshman Brianne Schmidt is in second on the team in scoring, netting five goals and one assist for 11 points. Freshman forward Megan Inama has five goals for 10 points. In the net, junior Rachael Donatiello has played in 1,113 minutes, accumulating 98 saves.
