With the game knotted at zero, Mark Timko would find the goal at 20:45 when he took a run down the left side of the field and forward Cameron Audette sent the ball over the defense for Timko to handle and score the opening goal. Keystone would have to wait twenty more minutes before Scott Bensinger scored an unassisted goal after controlling a loose ball and slipping between two defenders. The game would go into half time tied 1-1.

Keystone's Patrick Hulede would break the tie at 65:01 after knocking the ball in with a chaotic situation in front of King's net minder Tim Melber. King's would have to wait just over a minute before Joe Bender sent Timko on another side-field run allowing him to score his second goal of the night.

Brian McElroy would send Audette on deep run up the middle of the field, allowing Audette to flick the ball in at 83:53, giving king's a 3-2 lead. Keystone forward Alex Boirand was fouled in the penalty box and took advantage, putting the ball in the top corner of the goal to tie the game for the third time at 3-3. King's, who took two penalty kicks on the night, was unable to convert.

In the net, Melber was able to make four saves on the night. King's held a 28-14 advantage in shots and 16-5 in corners.

The Monarchs will be back in action this Saturday, October 11 when they host the Devils of FDU-Florham. Game time is set for 7:00pm.
