KING'S BASEBALL TEAM FALLS TO GWYNEDD-MERCY
GWYNEDD VALLEY -- The King's College baseball team dropped a 12-8 non-conference decision to host Gwynedd-Mercy College Sunday in Gwynedd Valley.
The teams will conclude their three-game series Monday at 3:30 p.m. with a single game at King's Betzler Fields. With the loss, King's slipped to 17-17 on the year while Gwynedd-Mercy improved to 17-17.
Matt Livoy was 2-for-4 with a double, three runs, and an RBI.
Pat McGlynn went 2-for-5 with one run and three RBI.
J.R. Graver finished 2-for-5 with two runs scored.

Matt Unger contributed to King's 10-hit attack with singles.
Joe Jenkins took the pitching loss for King's, allowing seven runs, five earned, on seven hits, striking out two batters while walking three.
Ryan Derry pitched the final two innings and yielded five runs, four earned, on six hits.
The Monarchs will next travel to face Misericordia University Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. in Dallas.
