ALLENTOWN -- The King's women's volleyball team upped its season mark to 5-0 as the Lady Monarchs posted a 3-1 victory over host Cedar Crest College Wednesday in Allentown.

Danielle Belfanti (Reading/Holy Name) totaled 22 service points, five aces, and 33 digs in the match, becoming just the fourth player in King's history to surpass the 1000-dig mark in three seasons. She needed eight digs to reach the mark entering the match.
Belfanti was aided by
Katie Doss with 12 kills and nine digs while
Kat Clerici added 14 kills and five total blocks.
Kaitlyn Malshefski tallied 14 kills while
Kelly Greenway distributed 25 assists with nine digs.
The Lady Monarchs will next compete in the Muhlenberg College Invitational Friday and Saturday in Allentown..
