LADY MONARCH SWIMMERS EDGED BY DREW, 99-92
 
MADISON, NJ--- The King's College women's swim team dropped a 99-92 heartbreaker to host Drew University Saturday in Madison, NJ 

With the loss, King's slipped to 5-5 on the year.
 
Becca Smith finished first in the 1,000 yard freestyle, touching in at 12:16.84, and also grabbed a second place finish in the 500 yard freestyle in 6:03.43. First in the 500 yard freestyle was sophomore Maggie Nealer who timed in at 5:53.71. Nealer also came in first in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:12.42.

Amanda Casey touched first in the 100 yard backstroke in 1:08.67 and also  finished second in the 50 yard freestyle in 28.36. Freshman Caitlin Casey finished second in the 100 yard butterfly in 1:08.20. Sophomore Caitlin Selitto picked up a second place finish in the 100 yard breast stroke at 1:28.45. The 200 yard freestyle relay of Amanda Casey, Sara Schmader, Smith and Nealer came in first with a time of 1:54.28.
 
Both the women's and men's squads will be back in action Wednesday when King's hosts FDU-Florham and Lycoming College at the Wilkes-Barre Catholic Youth Center. The events are set to go off at 6:00pm.
