KING'S MEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM HOSTING PENN COLLEGE SATURDAY
 
WILKES-BARRE – The King's College men's basketball team will return to the hardwood on Saturday when the Monarchs play their final non-conference game of the season against Penn College of Technology at 3:00 p.m. in Scandlon Gymnasium.

King's enters the contest with an 8-10 overall record while standing 1-9 in Freedom Conference games following a 80-72 loss to Wilkes on Thursday.

The Monarchs have been led by the play of sophomore center Kevin Conroy who averages 17.5 points and 5.8 rebounds while shooting 50.5 (97-192) percent from the field. Junior forward Jim Schule follows with 10.3 points and 4.8 rebounds with 17 three-pointers. Junior guard Mike Wagner adds 7.3 points and 2.8 rebounds with 25 three-pointers. Freshman point-guard Kyle Stackhouse nets 6.4 points with 3.9 rebounds and 46 assists.

Sophomore center/forward Harry Schlichter contributes 6.2 points and 4.1 boards. Freshman guard Nick Reisig tallies 5.8 points and 3.1 rebounds while making good on 23 three-pointers. Junior Wil Acevedo chips in with 3.4 points while sophomore point-guard Adam Brasky chips in with 2.2 points and 21 assists. The Monarchs average 68.4 points per-game while yielding 67.3 each game.

Penn College is 10-6 on the year.
