King's Men's Soccer Falls to Manhattanville, 1-0

KING'S MEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO MANHATTANVILLE, 1-0
 
WILKES-BARRE --  Marco Blasetti scoreds the only goal of the game in the first half as the visiting Manhattanville College men's soccer team  posted a 1-0 victory over host King's College Saturday night at McCarthy Stadium at the Betzler Athletics Complex.
 
With the win, Manhattanville improved to 9-4 overall and 4-0 in Freedom Conference play while King's fell to 10-4 and 2-2 in league games.

With the win, King's improved to 11-3 overall and 3-1 in Freedom Conference play while Manhattanville slipped to 8-5 and 3-1 in league games.
 
Manhattanville scored what proved to be the deciding goal when Blasetti's shot, following a corner kick from Adam Kent, deflected off King's goalie Andrew O'Shura and into the Monarch net with 20:20 left in the first half. 

Both teams had seven shots each while both squads also tallied four corner kicks. O'Shura posted four saves while Manhattanville keeper Jose Torres had three stops.
