King's Volleyball Drops Three Tight Games to FDU in 3-0 Loss

KING'S VOLLEYBALL FALLS IN THREE TIGHT GAMES TO FDU
 
MADISON, NJ -- The King's College volleyball team made it close but was unable to win any of the three tightly contest games as the Lady Monarchs dropped a 3-0 decision to host FDU-Florham in a Freedom Conference matchup Thursday in Madison, NJ. The Lady Monarchs fell by scores of 25-20, 25-23, 25-22.

With the loss, King's fell to 17-10 overall and 3-3 in conference games while FDU improved to 17-15 and 4-2 in league competition.

The Lady Monarchs were paced by Kat Clerici with 15 kills and five total blocks. Danielle Belfanti followed with 19 digs and 10 service points while Kelly Greenway distributed 29 assists. Shannon Ellis posted 13 service points and six digs while Kaitlyn Malshefski chipped in with seven kills.

King's returns to action Saturday with a 12:00 noon home matchup against Ursinus College in Scandlon Gymnasium. The Lady Monarchs will then hold its annual Alumni Game following the contest at approximately 2:30 p.m.
