KING'S FIELD HOCKEY SQUARING OFF AT DESALES, VIEW LIVESTATS

CENTER VALLEY —The King's College field hockey team will play its final regular-season game of the season when the Lady Monarchs travel to center Valley to face DeSales University in a 3:00 p.m. Freedom Conference matchup.

King's enters the game with 9-7 overall record and a 4-2 Freedom Conference mark. The Lady Monarchs have secured a Freedom Conferecne Tournament playoff berth but their seeding is still up for grabs. With fellow payoff qualifiers Wilkes playing Delaware Valley tonight at 7:00 p.m., King's can wind up being seeded as high as second or as low as fourth, depending on the outcome of the Wilkes-DVC game as well as the result of King's own game with DeSales.

DeSales, meanwhile, stands at 7-11 overall and 1-5 in league play after a 3-0 win over Misericordia.

King's is led by sophomore Jenera Quinones who tops the squad with 27 points on 12 goals and three assists. Heather Kozior follows with 12 points on five goals and two assists. Calli Berryman and Jackie Sikora tally 10 points on four goals and two assists apiece while Shawna Walp also has 10 points on three goals and four assists.

In goal, Erin McGinley has a 2.66 GAA with 63 saves.
