Monarch Soccer Earns 2-0 Road Win Over Juniata

KING'S MEN'S SOCCER POSTS 2-0 WIN OVER JUNIATA
 
HUNTINGDON –  The King's College men's soccer team broke open a scoreless game at the half with two second half scores as the Monarchs posted a 2-0 victory over host Juniata College Tuesday in Huntingdon.

With the win, King's improved to 9-2 on the year while Juniata fell to 5-6.

After a scoreless first half, King's finally broke through when Greg DeMaio drilled a shot from 18 yards out into the upper left corner of the net. The Monarchs added their final goal at the 80:18 mark when Dan Carle made good on a penalty kick. 

Juniata outshot King's 9-6 while both teams took three corner kicks. Monarch goalie Andrew O'Shura made two saves while Eagle keeper Joe Kohler also posted two stops.

King's returns to action Saturday when the Monarchs travel to Doylestown to face Delaware Valley College at 2:30 p.m.
