King's Volleyball Blanks Misericordia 3-0 as Kachinko Registers 399th career Victory

KING'S VOLLEYBALL BLANKS MISERI, 3-0 AS KACHINKO NEEDS ONE VICTORY FOR 400TH WIN
 
DALLAS – The King's College volleyball team evened its record in the Freedom Conference at 2-2 as the Lady Monarchs posted a 3-0 victory over Misericordia University Tuesday in Dallas.

King's, which won by scores of 25-22, 25-18, 25-12, improved to 15-7 overall and bring head coach Bernie Kachinko to within one victory of reaching the 400-win plateau.

Kat Clerici led King's with 11 kills and five total blocks while Emily Kline followed with nine kills. Kelly Greenway distributed 26 assists while Danielle Belfanti tallied 19 digs. Shannon Ellis posted seven service points and six digs while Kailtyn Malshefski registered six kills and seven digs.

Kachinko will go for his 400th victory on Thursday when King's plays host to Scranton at 7:00 p.m. in Scandlon Gymnasium.
