KING'S WILL TRAVEL TO CROSS-TOWN RIVAL WILKES IN FREEDOM CONFERENCE SEMI-FINAL MATCH-UP, VIEW LIVESTATS
 
WILKES- BARRE -- The King's College field hockey team will be facing Wilkes University in the Freedom Conference Tournament semi-final on Wednesday. The game will start at 2:30 p.m. at Wilkes' Artillery Park in Edwardsville. Artillary Park is located in adjacent to Kirby Park, behind the Kingston Armory.

Ticket prices, as mandated by the MAC Office, have been set at $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $2 for students, while children under age-six will be admitted free of charge.

King's is entering the match-up as the #3 seeded team with a 9-8 overall record and a 4-3 conference mark. The Monarchs dropped a 3-2 decision to DeSales on Friday in the final conference match of the season. As for Wilkes they enter as the #2 seeded team with a 15-2 overall record and a 6-1 conference record. The Colonels wrapped up their regular season with a 6-3 victory over Manhattanville on Saturday.
 
Jenera Quinones
Leading the way offensively for King's has been Jenera Quinones (left) who has 27 points on 12 goals and three assists. Heather Kozimor and Shawna Walp both follow with 12 points each with Kozimor recording five goals and two assists, while Walp tallies four goals and four assists. Candice Russ, Calli Berryman and Jackie Sikora all add 10 points each, with Russ notching five goals and Berryman and Sikora both having four goals and two assists. 

Danielle Terracciano chips in with nine points on four goals and one assist. Rounding out the scoring is Shelby Trenge with eight points on three goals and two assists. Erin McGinley has recorded 64 saves in 983:24 minutes for 2.75 goals against average.
 
Jenna DiSabatino has led the Colonels offensively with 43 points on 15 goals and 13 assists. Jennifer Keegan follows with 33 points on 15 goals and three assists. Amanda Peters adds 27 points on 10 goals and seven assists. Cassie DiSabatino contributes with 19 points on five goals and nine assists. Amanda Tilley recorded 14 points on five goals and four assists. 

Brittany Sines has tallied 12 points on four goals and two assists. Alyson Paulauskas rounds out the scoring with 10 points on three goals and four assists. Lindsey Davenport has logged 1090:19 minutes in net for Wilkes, making 78 saves for a 1.54 GAA.
 
The last time these two teams met was on October 21 at McCarthy Stadium in the Robert L. Betzler Athletic Complex as the Monarchs fell to the Colonels by the score of 3-2.
