KING'S TRAVELING TO TAKE ON MANHATTANVILLE IN FREEDOM CONFERENCE SEMI-FINAL MATCHUP
 
WILKES- BARRE -- The King's College men's soccer team will be facing Manhattanville College in the Freedom Conference Tournament semi-final on Wednesday. The two teams will square off at 5:00 pm at Valiants Field in Purchase NY.

Ticket prices, as mandated by the MAC Office, have been set at $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $2 for students, while children under age-six will be admitted free of charge.
 
Manhattanville will be utilizing LiveStats at the playoff game, as well as webcasting live video of the game over the Internet.

 The live video will be available at a cost of $6.95 to watch. Fans are advised log on early to complete the purchasing process before the game begins. Manhattanville will air a pre-game show at approximately 3:45 p.m. and a short post-game show following the contest. The live video is available at the following link: http://www.govaliants.tv
 
King's is entering the match-up as the #4 seeded team with a 11-6-1 overall record and a 3-3-1 conference mark. The Monarchs wrapped-up their regular season with a 2-1 double overtime loss to Misericordia on Saturday.
 
Manhattanville enters as the #1 seeded team with a 12-4-1 overall record and a 6-0-1 conference record. The Valiants wrapped up their regular season with a 3-2 victory over Delaware Valley on Saturday.
 
Joe Bender
Leading the way offensively for the Monarchs as been Joey Bender (left) who has 36 points on 15 goals and six assists. Greg DeMaio follows with 14 points on five goals and four assists. Alex Martino adds 11 points on four goals and three assists. Both Dan Horn and Rob McGuiness add eight points on four gals. George Genco tallies seven points on one goal and five assists. Dan Carle and Yehudi Maldonado have both recorded four goals, with Carle notching two goals, while Maldonado recording one goal and two assists. Andrew O'Shura has been impressive in net for the Monarchs as a first-year player. O'Shura has made 55 saves in 1220:47 minutes for a 0.88 Goals against average, while posting five shutouts.
 
Keston George as led the Valiants offense with 24 points on nine goals and four assists. Adam Kent follows with 13 points two goals and nine assists. Moshee Kelyanna adds 10 points on four goals and two assists. Sebastian Chica, Daniel Carlryd and Kenneil Haye all contribute with nine points, with Chica and Carlryd notching four goals and one assist, while Haye has three goals and three assists. Jason Torres has been stellar in the cage for Manhattanville recording 1568:38 minutes making 41 saves for a 0.75 GAA. Torres has recorded 10 shutouts on the year, including six in a row, from October 3rd – October 21st.
 
One of the shutouts for Torres came against the Monarchs in a 1-0 Manhattanville victory on October 17th at King's with Marco Blasetti recording the lone goal.
