KING'S TENNIS DOWNS MISERI, 6-3
DALLAS - The King's College men's tennis team picked up its second conference win with a 6-3 victory over Misericordia University Saturday in Dallas.
With the win, the Monarchs improved to 3-4 on the year. Misericordia meanwhile fell to 2-2.
King's won two of the three doubles matches to start off the contest, then captured four of the six singles bouts to clinch the victory.
Jon Hand, Blake Bonser and David Kaluzavich were all victorious in singles and doubles for the Monarchs. Tim Carroll was able to pick up the number five flight singles win over Matt Hopkins (6-1, 6-2) to help lead the Monarchs to victory.
King's is slated to host their home opener on Sunday against Keystone College at 1:00 p.m. at Kirby Park.
