KING'S TENNIS DROPS OUT OF FIRST PLACE TIE WITH LOSS TO MANHATTANVILLE
WILKES-BARRE – Visiting Manhattanville College remained the lone unbeaten team in Freedom Conference play with a 9-0 victory over host King's College to conclude a suspended match that began Wednesday but was halted due to rain and resumed Saturday.
The Valiants, who improved to 12-4 overall and 6-0 in Freedom Conference matches, did not drop a set in the match.
King's senior David Kaluzavich put forth the best effort for the Monarchs dropping the first set in a tiebreaker 7-6 (6-4) before falling in the second set 6-4.
