KING'S TENNIS DROPS SEASON FINALE TO LEBANON VALLEY, 7-2
ANNVILLE – The King's College men's tennis team played its final match of the season in preparation for this weekend's Middle Atlantic Conference Individual Tournament as the Monarchs dropped a 7-2 non-conference verdict to Commonwealth Conference champion Lebanon Valley College Tuesday in Annville.
With the win, LVC improved to 12-7 while the Monarchs slipped to 11-8.
Lebanon Valley took a 3-0 lead after sweeping the doubles competition, then clinched the match by winning four of the six singles bouts contested.
Blake Bonser and Tim Carroll were the lone winners in singles for the Monarchs, who will compete in the MAC Championships Saturday and Sunday at Kirby Parks and the Wilkes University tennis courts.
