King's Tennis Downs Lycoming 7-2 for 8th Straight Win

KING'S TENNIS WINS 8TH STRAIGHT MATCH WITH 7-2 VICTORY OVER LYCOMING

WILLIAMSPORT -- The King's College men's tennis team won its eighth straight contest as the Monarchs posted a 7-2 victory over host Lycoming College Tuesday in Williamsport. With the win, the Monarchs improved to 9-4 on the season while Lycoming slipped to 1-3.

King's opened the match strong by sweeping all three doubles contests, then sealed the victory by claiming four of the six singles bouts.

Jon Hand, David Kaluzavich, and Tim Carroll were all victorious in singles and doubles for King's. Marco Stallone added a singles win while the doubles teams of Hand and Povl Schmidt, along with Joe Guza and Carroll, were also winners. Carroll improved his team-best singles mark to 10-1 while Kaluzavich upped his singles ledger to 10-3.

King's returns to action Thursday to face FDU-Florham at 12:00 noon in Madison, NJ.
