King's Volleyball Wins Opener at Albright Invitational

KING'S VOLLEYBALL WINS OPENER AT ALBRIGHT TOURNAMENT
 
READING -- The King's College women's volleyball team won its first match at the Albright College Invitational Tournament Friday in Reading.  In its lone match of the day, the Lady Monarchs bested host Albright, 3-0 by scores of 25-19, 25-21, 27-25.  With the win, King's improved to 9-3 on the year.

Kat Clerici paced King's with 11 kills and four solo blocks. Kaitlyn Malshefski added eight kills while Emily Kline tallied seven kills and five total blocks. Danielle Belfanti posted 25 digs in her homecoming back to her native Reading while Shannon Ellis contributed nine digs.  Kelly Greenway distributed 27 assists on the day.

King's continues play on Saturday with an 11:00 a.m. matchup with Gwynedd-Mercy College while wrapping  up play at 1:00 p.m. against Alvernia College.
