King's is coming off a 2008 ECAC Southern Regional championship and a school record 16-1-5 mark. The Monarchs will face the task of filling the shoes of graduated all-time leading scorer Cameron Audette and two-time All-Freedom selection Ryan Symons but return a healthy mix of veteran players combined with a handful of promising newcomers.

Returning for King's is sophomore Joe Bender who finished second on the team with 23 points with seven goals and nine assists as a freshman. Also back is fellow sophomore Billy Elliott who tallied 13 points on six goals and one assist. The midfield will be headed by junior Dan Carle, who contributed 12 points on four goals and four assists while senior midfielder Brian McElroy is also one of the top returnees. The defense will be led by junior back Kevin Moulton junior goalie Tim Kelly, who posted a 1.14 GAA with 79 saves a year ago.
