KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER HOSTS WILKES ON SENIOR NIGHT
WILKES-BARRE – The King's College women's soccer team will look for their first Freedom Conference win of 2010 as the Lady Monarchs welcome cross-town rival Wilkes University to McCarthy Stadium. King's will honor its two senior players, Meghan Snavely and Meghan O'Kane, prior to the contest. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

King's enters the match with a 1-14 overall mark, 0-4 in conference play following a 3-0 loss at Manhattanville College on Saturday. The Lady Monarchs have seen eight players reach the scoring column this season. Becky Chateauneuf tops the squad with 15 points on five goals and five assists. Jade Zuniga follows with 12 points on five goals and two helpers. Lady Monarch goalie Melissa D'Aniello has a 4.31 goals against average with 49 saves in eight matches played.
Wilkes comes into the contest with a 6-8-1 overall record and 2-1-1 in Freedom play after a 0-0 scoreless tie at FDU-Florham on Saturday. Taryn Hallowell leads the Colonels attack with 18 points on eight goals and two assists. Megan Clementson adds four points on two goals. Colonel keeper Samantha Rohn boasts a 1.22 goals against average with 64 saves in 15 matches in net.
Following the match, King's will take to the road Saturday to face Eastern University at 12:00 p.m. in St. Davids, Pa.
