KING'S FIELD HOCKEY HOSTS DESALES IN FREEDOM CONFERENCE FINALE TUESDAY
WILKES-BARRE – The King's College field hockey team concludes its Freedom Conference slate Tuesday when the Lady Monarchs host DeSales University at 7:00 p.m. at McCarthy Stadium. King's has earned the second seed and will host a semi-final match on Wednesday, November 3rd against the third seed in next week's Freedom Conference Tournament.

King's enters the match with a 12-3 overall mark, standing 5-1 in conference play following a 4-1 win at Manhattanville College on Saturday. Calli Berryman leads the Lady Monarch attack with 37 points on 14 goals and nine assists. Jenera Quinones follows with 33 points on 13 goals and seven assists. Berryman and Quinones rank among the top three in the Freedom Conference in several offensive statistical categories, ranking first and second in points, points per game, and goals. Senior forward Danielle Terracciano adds 22 points on 10 goals and two helpers. King's goalie senior Erin McGinley has been solid in net boasting a 1.25 goals against average with 62 saves and three shutouts.
DeSales enters their final conference tilt with a 7-10 overall record and stand 1-5 in league matches after suffering a 3-2 defeat against FDU-Florham on Saturday. The Bulldogs are led by Amy Pulcini with 21 points on 10 goals and two assists. Jamie Matthews adds 15 points on seven goals and an assist, while Kelsey Strowhouer contributes 14 points on six goals and two helpers. Keeper Victoria DelToro has a 2.38 goals against average with 77 saves and three shutouts in 16 matches in net.
Following the match, King's will conclude its regular season with two non-conference tilts, Thursday against Albright College at McCarthy Stadium at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday at Montclair State University at 1:00 p.m.
