King's Volleyball Drops 3-0 Decision Against DeSales in Freedom Conference Finale

KING'S VOLLEYBALL DROPS 3-0 DECISION AGAINST DESALES IN FREEDOM CONFERENCE FINALE

 

WILKES-BARRE – Visiting DeSales University took three straight sets on way to a 3-0 win over King's College in both teams' Freedom Conference finale on Wednesday night in Scandlon Gymnasium. The Bulldogs took the match by scores of 25-9, 25-16, and 25-16.

 

With the loss King's drops to 6-14 overall and concludes Freedom play at 1-6. DeSales improves to 14-13 overall and 4-3 in conference matches

 

Lauren Rockhold led the King's attack with seven kills and one solo block. Emily Kline played in her final home contest finishing with five kills, six digs, and three total blocks. Setter Kelly Greenway led the passing game with 16 assists and 11 digs. Colleen Grosenick added three kills and nine digs on the night.

 

Kylie Fehnel and Haley Petrarca led the Bulldogs with 11 kills each. Setter Justine McNulty finished with a match-high 36 assists, while Eden Reichard contributed with 15 digs.

 

King's will conclude its regular season this weekend when they travel to play in the Vassar College Tournament.
