KING'S WOMEN'S SOCCER DROPS 4-0 DECISION AT DESALES IN SEASON FINALE

CENTER VALLEY, PA – Host DeSales University scored two goals in the first half, then added two more in the second frame on way to a 4-0 win over King's College in Freedom women's soccer action Saturday afternoon.

With the loss King's finishes its 2010 campaign at 1-17-1. DeSales improves to 6-11-1 on the year.

DeSales opened up an early 2-0 lead as Brady Walsh and Amanda Fink each scored in the games first four minutes. Fink would add her second tally of the afternoon at the 64:21 mark of the second, and Heather Santos would put home one last insurance goal at 70:55 to give the Bulldogs the 4-0 shutout conference  victory.

King's was unable to mount much offense, as the Lady Monarchs finished with three shots in the match. DeSales put 27 shots on King's goalie Katie Mangan who finished with 11 saves. DeSales garnered seven corner kicks to King's five attempts.

King's returns all three of their top scorers from this season in 2011.
