KING'S MEN'S BASKETBALL TRAVELS TO MUHLENBERG FOR NON-CONFERENCE TILT MONDAY, VIEW LIVESTATS/VIDEO
WILKES-BARRE – The King's College men's basketball team continues their early season non-conference schedule with a trip to Muhlenberg College Monday night at 7:30 p.m.

The contest marks the eighth meeting between the two schools, as Muhlenberg holds a 5-2 advantage. King's posted a 55-48 victory last season against the Mules in Scandlon Gymnasium.
The Monarchs enter the contest with a 2-1 overall mark following a 57-48 loss against defending Commonwealth Conference champion Albright College six days ago. King's is led by senior forward Kevin Conroy (Chatham, NJ, Chatam) who averages 17.3 points and 7.0 rebounds. Conroy became the 25th player in school history to reach the 1,000 point plateau in his career in the loss against the Lions, scoring 17 points and grabbing eight rebounds. Rookie guard Kyle Hammonds (Rosemont, PA, Radnor) is off to a quick start to his collegiate career averaging 9.7 points, canning four three-pointers. Junior point-guard Kyle Stackhouse (Malvern, PA, Great Valley) adds 8.7 points and a team-high 8.7 rebounds. Sophomore guard Dan Maguschak (Beaver Meadows, PA, Hazleton Area) contributes 7.7 points and 3.3 rebounds. King's averages 63.3 points per-game, while allowing 62.3 points per-contest.
Muhlenberg stands 3-1 on the year after suffering a 74-67 defeat against Gettysburg College on Tuesday. Abington Heights graduate Spencer Liddic leads the Mules attack averaging 21.0 points and 9.8 rebounds. Austin Curry follows with 14.8 points and 2.5 assists, shooting 9-for-20 from behind the arc. Evan Tozer adds 7.8 points and 5.8 rebounds. Muhlenberg averages 71.8 points per-game, while yielding 58.5 points per-contest.
Following the game, King's will open their Freedom Conference slate at Eastern University on Wednesday. Game time is set for 8:00 p.m. in St. David's, Pa.
