KING'S WOMEN'S SWIMMING POSTS WINS OVER CABRINI AND COLLEGE OF NOTRE DAME
RADNOR, PA -- The King's College women's swimming team captured two wins Friday night in a tri-meet at Cabrini College. The Lady Monarchs posted a 99-91 victory over the host Cabrini, while picking up a 105-65 win against the College of Notre Dame (MD).
Following the tri-meet, King's remains perfect on the year at 4-0.
Maggie Nealer led a list of first place finishers for King's, taking first in both the 200 freestyle (2:07.94) and the 500 freestyle (5:43.23). Patricia Manning placed first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:25.03, and first in the 100 breaststroke at 1:14.27. Rebecca Smith was a first place finisher in the 1000 freestyle (11:47.04) and took second in the 100 freestyle at 1:00.48.
Caitlin Casey rounded out the Lady Monarchs top finishers with first place in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:10.02. The King's 400 medley relay of Amanda Casey, C. Casey, Nealer, and Manning captured the top spot with a time of 4:31.93.
King's will return to the pool next Friday when they travel to Lebanon Valley College for a meet schedueld for 6:00 p.m.
