LADY MONARCH CAGERS LOOK FOR FIFTH STRAIGHT WIN SATURDAY AGAINST KEYSTONE, VIEW LIVESTATS, WEBCAM
WILKES-BARRE – The King's College women's basketball team looks for their fifth straight win Saturday when the Lady Monarchs welcome Keystone College to Scandlon Gymnasium for a non-conference tilt scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

King's (6-3) enters the game riding a four-game win streak after posting a 77-67 victory against Commonwealth Conference foe Lycoming College on Thursday. Sophomore guard Celia Rader (Scranton, PA, Scranton Prep) continues to lead the team offensively averaging 16.3 points and 3.6 rebounds, shooting 39.0 percent (23-59) from behind the arc and 72.3 percent (34-47) from the charity stripe. Junior forward Paige Carlin (Scotrun, PA, Pocono Mountain East) follows with 11.7 points and 4.9 rebounds, posting 16 points in the win against the Warriors.
Sophomore guard Katlin Michaels (Berwick, PA, Berwick) adds 9.9 points and 4.9 rebounds, while sophomore guard Lindsay Atchison (Green Village, NJ, Chatham) chips in 9.7 points and a team-best 7.8 rebounds. Sophomore forward Molly Dahl (Garrison, NY, Walter Panas) anchors the frontcourt for King's averaging 6.7 points and 6.4 rebounds. Junior point-guard Brittany Muscatell (Lambertville, NJ, Immaculata) posts 5.6 points and 3.2 assists running the offense. The Lady Monarchs average 67.7 points per-game, while yielding 69.1 points per-contest.
King's posted a 70-42 victory against Keystone in La Plume, Pa. last season.
Keystone stands 1-7 overall on the year, recording their first win of the season against Cedar Crest College (62-39) on Monday. Senior guard Ellen Fallon leads the Giants attack averaging 12.3 points and 3.9 rebounds, shooting 80.8 percent (21-26) from the free throw line. Senior forward Melinda Moore follows with 10.0 points and 5.6 rebounds.
Freshman guard Tiana Cuttino adds 6.4 points and a team-high 6.3 rebounds, shooting 40.0 percent (14-35) from the field. Senior guard Sarah Barreto chips in 5.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists, while fellow senior guard Theresa Yazurlo contributes 3.3 points and 1.3 rebounds in four games played. Keystone averages 47.0 points per-game, while allowing 65.7 points each contest.
Following the game, King's will be idle for Christmas break. The Lady Monarchs will return to the court January 2-3 when they play in the Moravian College Tournament where they will meet host Moravian in the opening round on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
