KING'S BASEBALL TO MAKE HOME DEBUT WEDNESDAY AGAINST LVC
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College baseball team will make its 2010 home debut Wednesday when the Monarchs play host to Lebanon Valley College at 4:00 p.m. at the Betzler Athletic Complex.

King's enters the matchup with a 3-1 mark during its spring break trip to Florida, but the Monarchs will not have played since March 8 as the team's four games were rained out during their southern stint.
Leading King's is senior catcher Matt Unger who batted .538 (7-13) with three runs and three RBI during the trip. Freshman Rob Lemoncelli followed at .455 (5-11) with four RBI and three runs. Fellow rookie Chris Sweeney stands at .438 (7-16) with three doubles, one home run, and four RBI. Sophomore Brian Mikus stands at .417 (5-12) with two RBI while senior Sean Rooney contributes with a .400 (6-15) with one home run, two doubles, and six RBI. Junior pitcher Tommy Rozelle is 1-0 with a 3.0 earned run average and seven strikeouts while senior hurler Dan Jenkins is 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA and four strikeouts.
Lebanon Valley, meanwhile, is 5-3 and comes off a 21-1 win over Dickinson its the Flying Dutchmen's last game March 9.
