KING'S MEN'S TENNIS DEFEATS ARCADIA, 5-4

WILKES-BARRE - - The King's College men's tennis team defeated Arcadia University 5-4 in non-conference action at Tuesday Kirby Park.

King's took a 2-1 lead after the doubles competition as the teams of Jon Hand and Tim Carroll along with Nick Conte and Michael Steinberger, were winners in the first and third flights respectively.

The Monarchs would get the victory by winning three of the six singles matches, with Pasquale Romano clinching his number six singles flight with a 6-4, 6-2 victory. Hand and Carroll were also singles victors for the Monarchs.

King's is slated to host FDU-Forham on Wednesday in a 3:30 p.m. conference matchup in Kirby Park.
