KING'S BASBALL HOST SUNY New Paltz ON TUESDAY, VIEW LIVESTATS
WILKES-BARRE - - The King's College baseball team will return to the diamond Tuesday when the Monarchs host DeSales University in a 4:00 p.m. non-conference matchup at Lipo Field in the Robert L. Betzler Athletic Complex.

King's enters with a 11-6 overall record after picking up a doubleheader split to DeSales University on Monday.
Senior Jeremy Bonser leads the team with a .433 (13-30) average with four doubles, one triple and three RBI. Junior Mike Fignar has a .421 (8-19) average with one double and seven RBI. Freshman Chris Sweeney has a .394 (26-66) average with nine doubles, one triple, two home runs and 17 RBI. Senior Matt Unger hits .382 (21-55) with one double, two triples, one home run and 14 RBI. Freshman Joey Troxell enters with a .364 (20-55) average with three doubles, one triple and 12 RBI. Freshman Mike Kusters hits .357 (10-28) with one double and eight RBI. Freshman Brian Mikus is also hitting .333 (13-39) with two doubles and seven RBI. Leading the way on the mound so far is junior Tommy Rozelle who is 4-0 with a 1.32 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 27.1 innings. Senior Eric Matula is 2-1 with a 5.25 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 24 innings. Senior Dan Jenkins is 2-0 with a 3.00 ERA and five strikeouts in 3.0 innings. Freshman Bobby Peron is 1-0 with a 2.84 ERA and six strikeouts in 6.1 innings.

Dylan Franco is batting .438 (14-32) with three doubles, one triple, one home run and 12 RBI. Michael Marash follows at .405 (15-37) with five doubles and nine RBI. Joel Judson stands at .381 (24-63) with seven doubles, two home runs and 14 RBI, while also recording a 3-0 mark on the mound tallying 36 strikeouts in 27.2 innings. Matt O'Neill hits .355 (11-31) with two doubles and six RBI. For the pitchers, Brett Harrison is 2-1 with 10 strikeouts in 15.0 innings. Pat Sylvester is 1-0 with a 1.80 ERA and three strikeouts in 5.0 innings.
