WILKES-BARRE – Following a split against two nationally ranked opponents last weekend at the Stevens Invitational Tournament, the King's College field hockey team returns home tonight as the Lady Monarchs welcome Marywood University to McCarthy Stadium for a non-conference matchup at 7:00 p.m.

King's enters the contest with a 2-1 overall mark following a 1-0 shutout win over No. 18 Stevens Institute of Technology on Sunday. Junior forward Jenera Quinones (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Meyers) continues her fine play leading the team with six points on two goals and two assists. Senior forward Danielle Terracciano (Columbus, NJ / Northern Burlington) follows with three points on one goal and one assist, including the game-winner against Stevens. Sophomore forward Cali Berryman (Kingston, PA / Holy Redeemer) adds three points with one goal and one assist. Senior goalie Erin McGinley (Kingston, PA/Wyoming Seminary) remains steady in net for the Lady Monarchs boasting a 1.00 goals against average with 24 saves and two shutouts.
Marywood stands 1-2 overall after posting a 5-1 win against Wells College on Wednesday. Julie Dougherty tops the squad with six points on three goals. Brittany Beaton follows with four points on two goals, while Nicole Wessner and Carly Bergstrom add three points each. Goalkeeper Jamie Bowman has a 2.33 goals against average with 27 saves in three contests for the Pacers.
Following the game, King's will travel to Aston, Pa. on Tuesday for a non-conference tilt against Neumann University at 5:00 p.m.
