WILKES-BARRE – The King's College field hockey team returns to the field Tuesday when they travel to Aston, Pa. to face Neumann University in a non-conference matchup scheduled for 5:00 p.m. The Lady Monarchs enter the game having won two straight, including a 1-0 victory over No. 18 Stevens Institute of Technology on September 5.

King's stands 3-1 overall on the young season following a 5-1 victory over Marywood University on Friday. Junior forward Jenera Quinones continues her fine play leading the team with eight points on two goals and four assists, including two helpers in the win against the Pacers. Senior forward Danielle Terracciano follows with seven points on a team-best three goals and one assist. Terracciano enjoyed her best outing of the season in the Lady Monarchs last win notching two goals in the victory. Senior goalie Erin McGinley has been solid in net boasting a 1.29 goals against average with 24 saves and two shutouts.
Neumann enters the contest with a 0-4 overall record following a 3-2 loss at Susquehanna University on Saturday. The Knights have been led by the play of Megan George who totals four points on two goals on the season. Goalkeeper Lindsey Kasecamp has a 4.93 goals against average with 38 saves in net for Neumann.
Following the game, King's will return home to welcome Elizabethtown College Thursday for a non-conference tilt schedule for 7:00 p.m. at McCarthy Stadium.
