KING'S SWIM TEAM SPLITS WITH LYCOMING, FDU-FLORHAM

WILKES-BARRE --  The King's College swim team wrapped up their home schedule by splitting a tri-meet with Lycoming College and FDU-Florham Wednesday at the Wilkes-Barre CYC.  The King's women defeated FDU-Florham 92-8 but fell to Lycoming 76-42. The Monarch men bested FDU-Florham 65-18 but dropped a 78-30 verdict to Lycoming.

In the women's meet, Maggie Nealer won the 1000-freestyle with a school-record time of 11:28.24. Nealer was also second in the 50-freestyle at 100.25

Patricia Manning captured the 200-butterfly with a time of 2:25.33 as well as winning the 400-individual medley at 4:59.76. She was also second in the 200-breaststroke at 2:39.32

Becca Smith won the 500-freestyle at 5:41.22. She was also second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:09.01.

Krystna Homanko was second in the 100-freestyle with a 1:02.19.

The women 200-freestyle relay team of Nealer, Smith, Carissa Cook, and Stephanie Hughes won the event with a time of 1:55.95.

The women's 200 medley relay team of Amanda Casey, Patricia Manning, Homanko, and Smith were second at 2:08.01.  


For the men, Eric Stencovage captured the 100-butterfly with a time of 1:01.87. He was also second in the 100-breaststroke with a time of 1:04.20 and in the 100-freestyle at 52.50.

Justin Weilert won the 200-butterfly with a time of 2:21.12 as well as finishing first in the 400-individual medley at 4:56.02.

Jack Harrington was second in the 50-freestyle at 25.15. Harrington was also third in the 100-freestyle with a 54.63. Josh DeBellas placed second in the 500-freestyle at 5:38.18.
