KING'S WRESTLERS HOSTING 12TH RANKED YORK TONIGHT

WILKES-BARRE — The King's College wrestling team will face another major test when the Monarchs host 12th ranked York College in a Metropolitan Conference matchup at 7:00 p.m. in Scandlon Gymnasium.

King's, which comes off a 40-7 win over Muhlenberg College on Wednesday, has wrestled one of the toughest schedules in Division III this season.   York, which stands at 16-4-1, will be the eighth team the Monarchs will have face to be ranked in the NCAA Division III top-25 this season.

To compound matters, King's will be without at least three starters, including two of the top wrestlers on the squad. Junior captain Mike Reilly, ranked fourth nationally at 184-pounds, will miss his second straight bout with an illness.  Junior co-captain Frank Marinucci (165) and junior Anthony Dietrick (141) are also out with minor injuries. A fourth starter, freshman Tommy Desir (157), missed Wednesday's contest and will be a match-time decision.

The Monarchs will then travel to Williamsport to face Lycoming College in a 7:00 p.m. contest.
