King's enters the match with a 1-17 mark, 0-3 in the metropolitan wrestling conference following a 38-3 loss against York College (Pa.) on Friday. The Monarchs have been decimated by injuries throughout the year, but may finally have a healthy lineup heading into the contest. Senior Mike Reilly, ranked fourth nationally at 184-pounds, stands 17-1 on the year to lead King's. Freshman Tommy Desir has seen success in his first season as a Monarch, posting a 14-9 mark at 157-pounds. Sophomore Frank Marinucci is 8-8 at 165-pound class. Fellow sophomore Brendan Dwyer (left) is back in the lineup at 197 with a 2-4 record.
Lycoming stands 9-9 overall and 2-3 in the Middle Atlantic States Collegiate Athletic Corporation after falling at Messiah College 26-11 on Friday. Senior Isaiah Britton leads the Warriors with an 18-3 mark at 149-pounds. Senior Troy Hayre is 19-3 at the 184-pound class. Junior Stephen Hinton has posted a 15-6 mark at 125.
This will mark the second meeting between the former rivals this year, as Lycoming took a 33-9 decision against the Monarchs at the Budd Whitehill Duals two weeks ago.
Following the match, King's will return to the mat Thursday when the Monarchs host Elizabethtown College for a conference tilt at 7:00 p.m. in Scandlon Gymnasium.
