KING'S VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO MANHATTANVILLE
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College women's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to visiting Manhattanville College Wednesday night in Scandlon Gymnasium.
Manhattanville, which won by scores of 25-22, 25-21, 22-25, 25-22, improved to 12-9 overall and 1-4 in Freedom Conference play. King's, meanwhile, fell to 3-18 and 104 in league competition.
Emily Heimbecker topped King's with 12 kills and 14 digs while
Lauren Rockhold added 12 kills, six digs, and three aces.
Katie Senunas added 10 kills and five digs while Amanada Horton contributed 23 assists and seven digs.
Kaleigh Brady dished out 14 assists;
Jillian Foster tallied 18 digs; while
Eboni Chase chipped in with 12 digs.
King's will be idle until Tuesday when the Lady Monarchs host powerful Eastern University, the fifth-ranked team nationally in NCAA Division III
