Wilkes-Barre, PA-- The King's field hockey team will host Wilkes in its final home game of the regular season Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. at McCarthy Stadium.
The Lady Monarchs improved their record to 9-5, and evened their conference mark at 2-2 with a 2-0 win over FDU-Florham. Wilkes improved to 3-8 overall and 2-2 in the Freedom by knocking off DeSales 1-0 last Saturday.
Jenera Quinones leads the King's attack with 41 points on 16 goals and nine assists.
Shawna Walp has netted eight goals and two assists.
Calli Berryman and
Jackie Sikora have each tallied 17 points on seven goals and three helpers.
The Colonels offense is paced by Ashley Ream and Aliya Frankel who each have five points on two goals and one assist.
Lindsey Davenport handles the goalkeeping duties for Wilkes. Davenport has made 108 saves and has allowed 26 goals for a 2.59 goals against average.
