Volleyball Wraps Up Freedom Conference Schedule with 3-0 Loss to DVC

KING'S WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL DROPS CONFERENCE FINALE TO DEL-VAL
DOYLESTOWN -- The King's College women's volleyball team closed out its 2011 Freedom Conference schedule with a 3-0 loss to host Delaware Valley College Wednesday night in Doylestown. The Aggies won by scores of 25-9, 25-20, and 25-16.

With the win, Delaware Valley improved to 21-6 and 4-3 in Freedom Conference play while
King's slipped to 3-20 and 1-6 in league competition.

King's, which was playing without injured starters Heather Bowman and Lauren Rockhold
, the Lady Monarchs' top two hitters, were unable to sustain its offense against Delaware Valley.

Freshman Emily Heimbecker
continued her strong play with eight kills and 14 digs. Katie Senuas followed with five kills and three digs while Kelsie Kramer tallied three kills. Kaleigh Brady dished out 13 assists while Amanda Horton added eight assists and eight digs. Jillian Foster and Eboni Chase chipped in with seven and six digs respectively.

King's closes out its season Saturday at the Dig Pink Invitational at Oneonta State University, Oneonta, NY.
