KING'S WRESTLERS HOSTING NATIONALLY RANKED TCNJ IN HOME DEBUT
WILKES-BARRE — The King's College wrestling team will make its 2011-12 home dual-meet debut tonight when the Monarchs host The College of New Jersey in a Metropolitan Conference Wrestling matchup at 7:00 p.m. in Scandlon Gymnasium.
The Monarchs enter the matchup with a 2-1 dual-meet record while TCNJ is 1-1 and is ranked 24th nationally in NCAA Division III. The match will serve as King's lone home dual meet until January 26. Monarch head coach Ned McGinley begins his 43 year at the team's helm.
The Monarchs are led by senior
Mike Reilly (6-1), a three-time Metro Conference champion and 2011 NCAA Division III all-American. Reilly is currently ranked fourth nationally at 197-pounds but is expected to move down to 184 after the match with TCNJ. The Monarchs will also be paced by sophomore Tommy Desire who is 4-0 after winning the Monarch Invitational Tournament on November 5.

Chris Mazzocchi stands at 5-1 at 141. Junior Brenda Dwyer is 4-2 at heavyweight while senior
Frank Marinucci is 4-2 at 184.
TCNJ is led by junior Mike Denver, who is ranked second nationally at 184-pounds. P.J. Schmidt is 9-2 at 125; John Darling is 9-4 at 149; Brian Bolette stands at 8-3 at 133.
