LADY MONARCH SWIMMERS FALL TO LVC

WILKES-BARRE — The King's women's swim squad closed out the first semester of competition with a 143-58 loss to Lebanon Valley College Saturday in Scandlon Gymnasium.

With the loss, King's slipped to 3-3 while Lebanon Valley improved to 5-2.

Patricia Manning captured the 200-individual medley in 2:20.63 and was second in the 100-breaststroke with a 1:14.05. Caroline Fitch won the 500-freestyle with a time of 5:52.33 and was also second in the 200-freestyle at 2:11.46.

Erin McLin was second in the 50-freestyle at 27.58 and also in the 500-freestyle with a 1:07.34.  Shannon Johnson was second in the 1000-freestyle with a time of 12:30.10.

King's will be idle until January 14 with a 1:00 p.m meet at Messiah College.
