KING'S WRESTLERS FALL TO 10TH RANKED CENTENARY
WILKES-BARRE – The King's College wrestling team won just one bout as the Monarchs fell to 10th ranked Centenary College 41-5 Wednesday night in Scandlon Gymnasium. It marked the 10th different nationally ranked opponent the Monarchs have fallen to this season.
King's picked up its lone victory at 133-pounds when Rich Biesadesky earned a 19-4 technical fall over Ricky Jorge. The Monarchs also wrestled the meet without junior 174-pound standout Mike Reilly (26-1) who missed the contest due to a night class.
King's will close out its dual meet season Friday when the Monarchs host cross-town rival Wilkes at 7:00 p.m. in Scandlon Gymnasium.
King's will then host the 2011 Metropolitan Conference Championships, an NCAA Division III national tournament qualifying event, on February 27.
