KING'S MEN'S TENNIS DROPS PAIR OF MATCHES ON FINAL DAY OF SPRING TRIP
ORLANDO -- The King's College men's tennis team dropped a pair of matches Thursday on the final day of their spiring break trip to Orlando, Florida. The Monarchs fell 8-1 to Webber International, before dropping a 9-0 decision to Monmouth College (Ill.).
King's stands 1-5 overall on the year, finishing 1-4 on their spring break trip.
In the match against Webber, ranked 18th in NAIA, Chris DiMino captured the lone Monarch win in the number six singles position with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Reyne Hospedales. The win also marked the third straight in singles play for DiMino.
In the match with Monmouth, King's dropped all six singles flights before falling in three doubles competitions.
The Monarchs will be idle until March 23 when they travel to Annville, Pa. to face Lebanon Valley College at 3:30 p.m.
